Location: North Carolina | After reading lots of posts here, I have my first Ovation! It is a Standard Elite LX in New England Burst. I took a shim out from under the saddle, put on some elixers (I would have preferred D'Addario's, but I was out), and have been playing it all day. I am used to 1 3/4" nut guitars, but I'm sure I will get used to the slightly slimmer nut width with a little time. Thanks for an informative and friendly site!
