Yup. I don't remember the model number but saw one once at the Guitar Center in Hollywood. Exact same features as the 1537. I would have bought it except I already had Big Blue.

I don't remember any advertising on the guitar or anything in catalogs on it (also don't remember seeing anything on the 1537 cutaway - 1547?).

I dunno about the 12 for the 1537 but the 1758 I got from zorjon is the sweetest 12 I've ever played.(by far)

I would love to try a 1537 (maybe someday)

god bless

Glenn

hi ya'all,
Hey I was wondering whether this 12 string really existed. now I know. The model # is 1538 and it was only made for one year, which was 1984. This is according in the price list located here at OFC in the reference section.
keep on keeping on. mike

It was a 1538 and Sam was selling one not too long ago. I thought he also said there was only one or just a few made. Sam, what do you know? Bill same to you.

hi stephen,
I have to travel to Ct. in about 10 days anyways, so I am going to stop by Rhode Island guitar shop and pick it up in person. :)
I figure once i'm on the high-way I'll be able to play it all the way home and just use my knee to steer. peace mike

Hey "Fugot" - Mike?

Is this the 1537 that hung in the Main Street Music store East Greenwich RI?

I saw / played one several months back... It was in nice shape.

Now that I know what I'm looking for, I'll watch ebay. But scans on your page (and it's a terrific page) would be great.

On your name, what's the significance of "Paulmac"?
