Location: Marlton, NJ | This reminds me of a sad story - we used to have alot of house parties when I was a teenager. I used to make alot of the cassettes for these parties (it's so much easier now with iPods, isn't it???). At one of these parties, right after I started going out with the girl mentioned above, one of my tapes was on and it was at a point in the party where it quieted down alot and the lights were low - Colour My World was playing, so everyone was in a romantic mood. The next song (and this is the SAD part) was Cold As Ice... talk about FUBAR!
Needless to say, I put ALOT more thought into my subsequent party tapes! |

Frankie Yankovic. The Chmielewskis. Six Fat Dutchmen. What can I say? I grew up in rural central Minnesota. All Pollacks and Germans. Polka was prevalent at the Legion clubs, ballrooms, country bars... It was unthinkable to have a wedding with anything but a polka band. Would rather die than admit it in my teenage years but I'll fess up now. I enjoyed it then and still do.
Numbfingers, best Sweet album is Desolation Boulevard.
Jas, you'll have to ask me sometime why I will probably never be able to like Pablo Cruise.

| Can't really think of any to be embarrassed about because I was always very critical as a teenager but when I was about 10 I used to listen to the Clancy Brothers a lot and listening to them now I wonder what the hell I was on about back then. First LP that I chose was the Royal Marine Corps Band rather than Alvin and the Chipmunks which is what my parents suggested at the time..lol |

Location: Indiana | I saw Three Dog Night 5 times live. Great live band.Still a big fan to this day. Still love the Raiders,too. Went and saw Grand Funk when they were in their prime. Thought they were great. Read the awful reviews. The more I thought about it, the reviews were right. Was a big Yes fan, too. Can't really understand why. Very talented, but their songs make no sense to me. Was also a Black Sabbath fan for a VERY short time.

IMHO Three Dog Night (still in my iPod), The Association, and GFR, were good bands for thier time.
I confess, I listened to The Outfield, Chilliwack, Chris DeBurgh, and Orleans. Those I can live with.
But I did listen to (God forbid)... MICHAEL JACKSON!
