Yeah...a thread about marketing.
Fair warning....Bail out if you have to.
.
My local GC just moved to a new location. I like many things about it. It has a seperate room for bass guitars and a special "vintage" room.
The acoustic "corral" is much bigger with TWO little closet size rooms. However....There are no Ovations in any of these rooms. Ovations are displayed on the wall next to the entry to the acoustic room. I will say that the display is nice looking but it does not make comparison shopping very easy.
To top it off both of the special, climate controlled small rooms had a plethera of $125 guitars. In a room designed to showcase the "good stuff", they put the entry level guitars.
And lastly....why do I let it bug me?

Heard a new one today...Guitar Sinner. I guess it refers to the clientele and not the establishment properly.

Do you think it would kill QC to put a couple of Left Handed Acoustics in the Store? I hae spoken to two store managers and a regional manager all said they were "woking on it" but in two years I have seen 1 leftie.
