| Below is a message forwarded to me by a band mate that was orginally sent to Ovation. Their response was that the pre-amp was made in Korea and that they do not have access to the schematics. Does anyone here have any insight?
Thanks.
> A member of a group I'm in has two guitars, a Strat and an Ovation Celebrity CC057, S/N 90xxxxx. When he switches between the two, the Celebrity is extremely louder and requires a lot of adjustment to get the volume down to match the Strat with its passive pickups.

> Is there a trim pot inside the preamp that will take the output down to match other instruments more closely?
>
> If not, it there a way to wire something on the jack to alleviate this condition? I'm competent with soldering and general removal and replacement
of electrical parts but I don't know how to determine the values and a wiring diagram for any additional components.

John gave you some good advice....probably the cheapest way to go with it also.

Location: SoCal | On the side of the Celebrity there's a volume control. Turn it down. |

You can set it up for one input and one output then use the footswitch to switch between three preset levels (straight through, the green knob level and the red knob level). |
