Location: Charlotte, NC | Hello to everyone.... A big thank you to all who post here for the excellent information throughout the site. After a few months of lurking and visiting the local guitar shops, I finally decided on a Black Legend 1777 (nonLX). Received it today and couldn't put it down. A truly beautiful instrument. I am very happy with my purchase. I've only been playing for about 7 months but feel like I'm progressing pretty well for "teaching" myself with various books and just playing. Hoping one day I can play well enough to do the Legend justice.
My first guitar was a Washburn D9C that was a good one to see if I was going to stick to playing, but there is no comparison to the Legend..
First thoughts... "O"-GASmic
or like the Little Rascals used to say it's.... "a-O-tay"
That's all the "O"-isms I can come up with right now.
Again Thank you to all!!! |

That'll be Al Di Meola then. Good Luck.
Welcome from another newbie. Word of advice - never say anything nice about Taylor guitars (there is nothing nice to say about Taylors) and don't raise the subject of roses while cliff's around. |

One thing about a black top guitar: I never knew how much I spit when I sing until I started using one on stage. |

I have a black one, too. Now I know why people keep backing up... |

I am glad that you are enjoying your new legend. I was looking for an old cutom legend 12 string, but didn't have much luck. Instead, I have a nice Pacemaker 1115 coming very soon!!!
On a sidenote, I hope to meet some of you at this years OFC tour.

Location: Charlotte, NC | Thanks for the warm welcome...and for all the encouragement. You guys just have to promise me that you won't encourage any additional GAS anytime soon. I don't think my wallet or my marriage would survive it. :D Hopefully the new Legend will help to curb the syndrome for a while. |

...and mandolins
...and bases
...and ukeleles (if you force me)
...and banjos (oh, never mind) ;) |
